Susan Kelly
Founder and Principal
Susan's broad interest in Business and Accounting lead the way to years of Financial Management, Internal Audit and Compliance, Operations and Advisory roles. She resided in Alberta while attending college and then afterwards - over time managed 2 major companies - one in the bottled water industry and another in on site mobile destruction. Leaving industry - she hit up public practice and took a role with Grant Thornton LLP in Calgary, AB., which supported her decision to continue her CMA studies.
In 2012 - the dream to move back home to Victoria became a reality. Susan began her steps to launch her own accounting, tax and business advisory practice. And here we are today.
She specializes in helping clients stay on track and keeping compliant. Audit assistance and negotiations is another strength inside the business. Small Business Tax is a personal favorite.
When it comes team work - Susan believes strongly in
"2 eyes on every file" AND "We do not keep our clients waiting".
Susan's top hobbies are tending to and fussing in her garden, photography and painting. She has a small art practice as time allows. Mandolin and Singing sometimes!!
Kelly Hadwen
Client Specialist
Kelly was born and educated in Ontario where she started her bookkeeping and tax work at H&R Block. She then moved to beautiful mainland BC. During this time she worked for a Public Accounting Firm which gave her the foundation to be an excellent bookkeeper. She then relocated to Pender Island
where she continued on with a small bookkeeping practice before coming to Victoria to work with us in 2017.
Kelly is very dedicated and an integral part of our team. Her work provides our clients with an excellent product and peace of mind – constantly keeping up on the latest and developing software – she is our payroll specialist as well as prepares many personal and corporate income tax returns each year.
Kelly’s technical skills are held in - Account Edge - Quick Books - T-sheets - Excel - Profile - Sage
Kelly enjoys interior design and hiking. She and her
partner spend their weekends tinkering and sprucing up their 27 ft sailboat – then off they go– sailing and sunning around our local south Gulf Islands.
Lucas Kelly
Principal
Lucas is excited to introduce our services to untapped local markets and beyond starting in the fall of 2020. His expertise, education and experience lies primarily in Marketing and Customer Care. His goals are to find the perfect service packages to meet our clients needs. His natural ability to genuinely care about our clients is always a pleasure to experience.
Lucas comes with years of sales and marketing experience along with his charm - makes it hard to not love him.
Lucas's hobbies are muscially inclined - guitar, piano, voice along with the game of golf - and dog training and caring for his lovely dog Layla.
